My professional career interests are mainly teaching and
research, particularly, finding ways to enhance students'
understanding of computer science using state of the art
approaches, for which I'm devoted to finding good practices
in this regard.
I'm from Nigeria and obtained my PhD in
computer science from the Unversity of Eastern Finland.
My teaching career started in a Nigerian university and then,
I moved to Finland to conduct research leading to my PhD.
At the school of computing, University of Eastern Finland,
I was responsible for co-designing learning environments
with students to foster computational thinking and
problem-solving skills. Besides, I was teaching and
supervising graduate students' projects and thesis.
Joining School of Computing and Information Sciences,
Willamette University as an Assistant professor
presents excellent opportunities for my career advancement and to continue to pursue my interest in teaching and research.
Aside from professional life, I love God so much and am always enthusiastic
about things of God, cherish and enjoy family life, I love to sing songs, and interested in learning how to musical instruments.
